Affirmation Names New Therapy Coordinator

Meet Amanda Pfau

Hi, my name is Amanda and I've been an Occupational Therapist (OT) for 8 years now. I graduated from James Madison University and then went on to pursue my Masters in OT at Jefferson College of Health Sciences.

I have experience in pediatrics, outpatient, and continuing care facilities where I was Director of Rehab before relocating to Richmond in January 2020. Since then, I have taken my experience to home health where I have assisted patients and their families throughout the greater Richmond area.

I am married to my husband and best friend, Tim who is my number one supporter, and this past summer we became a family of three as we had our first child, Kennedy. Shortly after that I found my new home at Affirmation Home Health and couldn’t be happier to have joined such a great company and team.

I am looking forward to stepping into this role as Therapy Coordinator and being a trustworthy source for my coworkers and patients. My goal is to be a reliable point of contact for the therapy team and to provide supportive feedback to ensure we provide quality patient care to our clients.
